Leather Card Holders

Cards have replaced cash for most people, so a leather card holder drops the bill compartment and keeps only what gets used. Each card holder on this page has two pockets and is made of full-grain leather, measuring about 4 mm thick when empty. A card wallet with a coin pocket or one of the small leather wallets adds room for coins and folded bills, and a wallet with an AirTag slot adds tracking.  

Leather card holder – a minimalist leather wallet that carries payment and ID cards, typically in two to four slots or pockets, and leaves out the bill compartment and coin pocket to stay a few millimeters thick. Card holder variants can add a thumb slot or pull tab for card access, a center pocket for folded bills or a closed coin pocket, at which point the item is usually sold as a card wallet. 

• Two pockets do two jobs. The front pocket holds the cards used at every checkout; the rear pocket holds the rest; the thumb cutout pushes the cards out without opening anything.
• Initials emboss on the front. Up to four characters emboss on the leather, which turns the card holder into a gift without changing its shape.
